At Collinz, a key to success involves progression and improvement. We want our students to excel in the future by adopting this learner skills. With the aim to prepare our students for the real world, we challenge our students to ask questions, and solving problems as a team to help build their knowledge to solve real life problems. They learn to perceive the world from various angles, extending their knowledge beyond the classroom walls and to accommodate societal changes while leading a physically and emotionally balanced lifestyle. Lastly, we hope that they develop a strong sense of empathy, compassion and respect to those around them thus bringing a positive impact in the community.
Collinz Learner Skills
At Collinz, the key to success involves improvement and progression. We engage students through our specially designed curriculum to acquire our Collinz Learner Skills (CLS). Foremost, we nurture curious minds to explore and to think out of the box.
With the aim to prepare students for the real world, we challenge them to ask questions, and solve problems collaboratively. Students learn to perceive the world from various angles to form their own worldview, extending their knowledge beyond the confines of the classroom walls and at the same time practising a physically and emotionally balanced lifestyle. This ‘wholesomeness’ is to empower individuals to confidently step into the real world adapting to societal changes and embracing life’s challenges with positivity - a robust tree able to withstand the sands of time!
Key Stages
The English National curriculum provides a structured learning journey from the age of 4 to 17 years. The Early Years Foundation stage (age 4 years) is followed by a sequence of 5 "Key Stages".

Curriculum Overview
Within each year group, children study thematically. Curriculum areas include English, Maths, Mandarin, Computing, Science, History, Physical Education, Geography, Music, Art and Craft. Subject strands and objectives are carefully woven together to create immersive and interconnected units of learning.
